Seafarers Training Institute is looking to hire 300 new seafarers to address an “ongoing labour shortage” and “impending crisis” in Canada’s marine fishing industry.

It's the first day of spring and that means the St. Lawrence Seaway is once again open for business after being closed for the winter season.
