The internal funding will help finance clean energy improvements for up to 720 homes throughout Calgary. It is also part of the city's Clean Energy Improvement Program.

The poll showed 63 per cent of city residents who responded "believe Calgary’s future as a vibrant city is at risk if we do not become a leader in addressing climate change."
