Bombardier has faced backlash across the country over missed deadlines on projects but on Friday morning in Edmonton, the company celebrated the arrival of the city's newest public transit vehicle.

The latest plans to convert Bonnie Doon Shopping Centre into a high-density, transit-oriented mix of retail and residential spaces have been unveiled.

The wheels continue to turn on proposed changes to the Bonnie Doon Shopping Centre.

The application is currently in the pre-application stage, according to the city, and Morguard is consulting with the local business community and community leagues about what they would like to see on the site.
