London officials are welcoming the proposed bail reform legislation introduced by the federal government, but add that more will likely need to be done on the issue.

If passed, Bill C-48 would expand the set of circumstances under which the onus falls on a suspect to demonstrate why they should be let out on bail.

"I've always said that we need multiple pipelines, not just one. One pipeline doesn't just get us the kind of certainty and diversity of markets that we need for Canadian energy."
