Greg Rickford, Ontario's energy minister, pointed to a Facebook post from the chief of staff for a federal Liberal MP, who boasted about ripping off 100 of what he called "propaganda" stickers.

Ontario's energy minister says the government's anti-carbon tax stickers will stay up on gas pumps across the province because people need the information the decals provide.

The Ontario government says it will carry on with its legal challenge of the federal carbon tax despite the results of Monday's federal election. Environment Minister Jeff Yurek now says the province will see its roughly $30-million court battle "through to its end."

Ford says his government will enforce a law passed earlier this year that makes the stickers mandatory, but the fines will be less than $500, not the $10,000 maximum.

More than 700 semis, trucks and other vehicles honked their way through the Queen City as part of the Regina Rally Against the Carbon Tax.

Ford says that Canada has focused on free trade with the United States at the expense of internal trade.
