Extreme heat can lead to dangerous health risks for people who can't find shelter, or, stay hydrated.

Several community organizations in the Halifax Regional Municipality who are working together to reduce the negative health effects vulnerable populations face during the summer months.

"We didn't give a grade, although I'd say it would be a failing grade if we did put a grade on it," said a spokesperson for the group behind the report.
