WATCH: Half baked hazard

KELOWNA — Davie Park in Kelowna’s Rutland neighbourhood was swarmed by a fire department hazmat team Wednesday morning after reports of large quantities of an unidentified white power spread throughout it.

The team arrived at around 8 a.m. to find the substance along with a large bucket filled with the unknown powder.

Turns out it was the perfect recipe – not for disaster rather a delicious meal.

After further investigation, the hazmat team believe the unknown white power was actually pizza dough. There’s no word on how or why it was sprinkled around the park. Blaine Gaffney / Global Okanagan
