During his stop in Saskatoon, Prime Minister Steven Harper announced more than $1 million in infrastructure funding for the Diefenbaker Centre on his visit to Saskatoon.
Harper touched down in the city Thursday, announcing $1.327 from the federal infrastructure fund to perform renovations at the museum, archive and research centre on the University of Saskatchewan campus.
The university will come up with the other half of the $2.65 million.
Improvements to the centre will include upgrading the main gallery, as well as renovations to office and meeting space.
