A man wanted on more than 30 charges for assault, weapons, breach of court imposed conditions, and property-related charges was arrested yesterday afternoon, thanks to an observant Abbotsford resident.
Police received a report from a resident after seeing a suspicious man walking in a rural area of Abbotsford yesterday afternoon. After questioning the man and finding his story and identity to be false, police found the true identity of the man was Corey Foster.

The 35-year-old Foster has a lengthy criminal record with 37 convictions and is associated with the Independent Soldiers gang. The offences he is wanted for occurred in Kamloops, the Kelowna region, Surrey and Ontario.
He has been on the run from police for a significant amount of time, with many of the warrants and charges issued in May and June 2013.
Abbotsford Police attribute this arrest to the resident that reported the suspicious activity within their community.
