UPDATE: Missing Kelowna woman found safe

UPDATE (Thursday a.m.) — Valerie Hunter was located last night at the downtown Safeway and is safe & sound. 

KELOWNA — RCMP are asking for your help finding a missing 64-year-old woman.

Valerie Hunter was last seen Saturday, November 9th, leaving a home in the 200-block of McCurdy Road. She was travelling to the Glenrosa area to visit her parents, but never made it.

“Hunter suffers from a condition which could leave her disoriented and distressed if left untreated” said Kelowna RCMP Media Relations Officer, Kris Clark.
