Hillary Chaika is a local franchise owner and says this initiative is a way for the company to give back to the community just in time for World Diabetes Day on Thursday.

“We like to promote a healthy active lifestyle and we love that kids love our product and so we wanted to partner up with a charity that promotes healthy living,” said Chaika.

Funds donated to the foundation will go toward diabetes research and advocacy.

According to the Canadian Diabetes Association, over 85,000 people in Saskatchewan have diabetes.
