Vancouver Police say the “dangerous” suspect arrested near B.C. Place on Smithe and Pacific Boulevard Friday afternoon is connected to the execution of a search warrant on Quebec Street.
Police say the man was arrested as part of the ongoing efforts by the VPD to “prevent the supply of cocaine into the Downtown Eastside and reduce the related violence that goes with it.”

They executed a search warrant at an apartment in the 1100-block of Quebec Street, and two people in total have been taken into custody.
Charges have not been laid at this time.
