EDMONTON – RCMP say a pedestrian is dead after a collision on the QE2 southbound near the Edmonton International Airport.
It happened just after three Monday afternoon near the airport turn-off.

Traffic is being detoured onto Highway 19 and will be that way for about an hour.
The Edmonton International Airport is asking travellers to give themselves plenty of time to get to the airport, as the collision is causing major tie-ups.
