Fire crews are investigating the cause of a fire in Vancouver early Saturday morning.

Officials were called out at around 5 a.m. to a building on Commercial Drive near Pender Street.

When they arrived, the fire had spread through the building and flames were rising out of the windows.

Access to the building was made more difficult by bars on the doors.
