CALGARY- Dry conditions coupled with fall foliage have prompted a fire ban for the city of Calgary.
The Level III ban was issued at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Officials say fire risk over the past few weeks has been moderate, but now the ground is drying, there is little precipitation predicted as well as high winds.
