North Battleford RCMP deal with break and enter, armed robbery

NORTH BATTLEFORD, Sask. – A youth has been charged and police are looking for a man following separate incidents in North Battleford, Sask.

A 14-year-old was arrested after a school was broken into overnight on Wednesday and a vehicle stolen from the parking lot.

The teen has been charged with break and enter, possession of stolen property and three counts of failing to comply with an undertaking.

Charges against other suspects are pending.

Then around 8:20 p.m. on Thursday, an armed man held up a hotel on Railway Avenue.

The man entered the hotel lobby with a firearm and demanded cash.

He then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is over 6’ tall and was wearing a white hoodie with dark markings on the back and blue jeans.
