WINNIPEG – The Winnipeg Jets trimmed their roster Monday by reassigning centre Patrice Cormier and defenceman Zach Redmond to their American Hockey League affiliate, the St. John’s IceCaps.

Defenceman Adam Pardy also cleared waivers after being placed there Sunday. Pardy though will remain with the Jets as fellow blueliner Grant Clitsome was added to the team’s injured reserve retroactive to Sept. 26.
The Jets open the regular season Tuesday night in Edmonton against the Oilers before returning home for games Friday against the Los Angeles Kings and Sunday versus the Anaheim Ducks.
