SASKATOON – Saskatoon police are attempting to piece together the events of Tuesday night and Wednesday morning but with mixed messages the task is proving difficult.
Gunfire is Saskatoon has landed three men in hospital and nobody has been charged at this point.
“Right now police are increasing response in the area. Our bike patrol, beat officers and an increased uniform presence and patrol cars as well,” said Kelsie Fraser, Saskatoon police.
Just after 8 p.m. on Tuesday, police were notified of an incident after two separate reports of men with gunshot wounds.

Then at 3 a.m., a third shooting victim was reported.
Police believe two of three shootings are linked to a residence in the 200-block of Avenue F South where forensic identification and targeted enforcement have spent hours combing the scene.
Investigators are examining the possibility that the third shooting is also linked to the first two.
Police say it’s checking video surveillance from nearby buildings and has a wealth of tips from the public which need to be sorted through.
Information from the victims is scarce, police say they’re being tight-lipped and hindering the investigation.
Those who live in the area have a suspicion as to why the men involved are not talking.
“Gang related right? And if its gang related they won’t say stuff, they’re not allowed to say,” said Shannon Stronlarocque, friend of one of the victims.
The three victims range from 24 to 38 in age.
The condition of two of the victims is said to be stable while the third, who was shot in the abdomen, is listed as serious but stable.
With the addition of these most recent shootings, 2013 has seen six weapons/firearms incidents take place on this street. By this date last year, there were none.
