Two men wounded in west-side shooting

SASKATOON – Police are investigating a shooting Tuesday evening in Saskatoon that has left two men wounded.

Police were first alerted to the shooting when a man entered a business just after 8 p.m. in the 300-block of Avenue H South and told staff he had been shot.

A few minutes later, police were alerted a second man had walked into the emergency department at St. Paul’s Hospital with a gunshot wound.

A 25-year-old man is serious but stable condition with a single gunshot wound to his abdomen while the second man, 38, is in stable condition with a gunshot wound to his right arm.

Police believe the shootings are linked to a residence in the 200-block of Avenue F South and investigators from targeted enforcement and forensic identification are investigating.
