“We currently are talking to people from that address,” says Acting Staff Sgt. Pat McCormack.

While the investigation is still in its early stages, McCormack says no weapons have been found and area residents should not be worried.

“There is no concern to the neighbourhood in relation to the initial allegation.”

He adds that the area had to be blocked off in the interest of public safety.

“It’s unfortunate that we have to inconvenience people. But if it was as bad as it initially sounded, people would understand.”
