Work scheduled to be completed is concrete work, streetscaping, traffic and rail signals installation and resurfacing of the southbound lanes.

Repaving of the stretch between 22nd and 24th Streets will also take place, further restricting traffic.

Barring unforeseen circumstances, the 25th Street extension is expected to be open to traffic by the end of October.

Circle Drive South

The right lane of Idylwyld Drive northbound at Circle Drive South remains closed.

City officials say that portion of the roadway does not meet the city’s design standards and needs to be lengthened to give drivers more room to merge adequately.

The city is working with the contractor to improve confusing signage in the area and the upgrade is expected to be complete before freeze-up.
