CALGARY- An elderly man is listed in life-threatening condition, after colliding with a vehicle in southwest Calgary.
Around 8:15 a.m. on Thursday, a Harley Davidson motorcycle was being driven westbound on Spruce Meadows Trail by a 70-year-old man. He was heading through the intersection, when a Volvo being driven by a 36-year-old woman also tried to go through.
The car drove in front of the bike, causing the motorcycle to T-bone it and sending the driver flying into a ditch about 23 metres away.
He was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Volvo and her passenger were not injured.
Police have ruled out speed and alcohol as factors in the crash, but the investigation continues.
