TORONTO — The worlds of movies and music collided Monday night at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), where hundreds of fans showed up outside the Elgin Theatre hoping to catch a glimpse of pop-country superstar Taylor Swift.
They were rewarded when Swift, wearing a white dress, arrived at the world premiere presentation of One Chance and spent time posing for photos and signing autographs.

The 23-year-old brought serious star power to director David Frankel’s biopic about the rise of Paul Potts from mobile phone salesman to Britain’s Got Talent contestant to opera star.
Swift wrote and performed “Sweeter Than Fiction” on the movie’s soundtrack.
Potts himself was also at the premiere, as was the actor who portrays him, James Corden and co-stars Alexandra Roach and Valeria Bilello.
