Two injured, two arrested after Surrey shooting

Two people were injured after a shooting near a Surrey high school Friday night, according to Mounties.

Mounties responded to reports of a shot fired at around 9 p.m. near William Beagle Secondary and Robertson Park.

A witness said he heard a gunshot, followed by a man calling for help.

When RCMP arrived, they found a 20-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his abdomen.

The man was taken to hospital and is in serious, but not life-threatening condition.

At around 12:30 a.m. Saturday morning, Mounties received a second call from Ladner and found another man who they believe was involved in the incident.

He was taken to hospital with a gunshot wound to the hand.

The victims of the shooting have been uncooperative with the police and it is not known whether the shooting was gang related.

Two other people have been arrested in relation to the incident.
