Police search for suspect in alleged sex assault at York University

TORONTO – Police are investigating an alleged sex assault at York University Friday morning.

Officers responded to the call on the Keele campus shortly after 1 a.m.

Police say the assault happened during a Frosh Week party at Stong Residence.

It’s alleged the suspect – who was wearing a black hoodie with a hat and mirrored sunglasses – approached the woman from behind and groped her.

The suspect is described as being in his late teens or early 20s and is somewhere between five feet two inches and five feet seven inches tall, with tanned skin and a medium build.

He also has a piercing on the right side of his bottom lip.

Anyone with information is urged to call police.
