HALIFAX – A Halifax-area man is facing charges of accessing, possessing and distributing child pornography.
Sixty-year-old John Andrew Campbell was arrested in June after Halifax police received a tip from their colleagues in Toronto.
Police searched Campbell’s Dartmouth apartment June 12 and allegedly found fewer than 100 images of child pornography on his computer.
Lawyer Terry Sheppard appeared in Dartmouth provincial court Wednesday for Campbell.
Judge Castor Williams adjourned the entering of pleas until Dec. 5 to give the defence time to have an independent analyst review the computer’s contents.
