WATCH: Careless smoking leading cause of condo fires in Kelowna

KELOWNA — A rash of condo fires has many Kelowna residents on edge.  Because of concern that their buildings are at risk, owners and residents gathered at the Kelowna fire hall Wednesday to find out what can be done to make condos safer. And while fire fighters are recommending sprinklers be extend to decks — where all the recent fires have started —  we’re now learning that the fires have almost always been caused due to one common bad habit.
