Henriette may gain some strength today as it continues to move west-northwest. Though it currently poses no risk to land, as the storm continues to move, Hawaii could feel some effects such as high surf and increased wind.

Henriette’s winds are near 140 km/h making it a Category 1 on the Saffir-Simpson scale which measures hurricane strength.
