TORONTO – Calgary-raised singer-songwriter Feist has announced she will donate 100 per cent of the proceeds from her upcoming performance in Banff, Alta., to the Calgary Drop-In and Rehab Centre, which was ravaged in the June floods.

Feist has also launched an eBay auction offering accommodations, a meet-and-greet opportunity, flights and two VIP tickets to the show, with proceeds also set to go toward flood recovery efforts.

The auction runs until July 30.

The show will take place on August 7 at Banff’s Shaw Amphitheatre.

General admission tickets are now available through Ticketmaster for $54.25 plus tax and fees.

“With the advice of my mom, my eyes on the ground, I chose the (Drop-In Centre) to support through this concert,” said the multiple Juno Award winner in a release.

“This type of catastrophe has certainly shown the many faces of disaster but, rain or shine, the (Centre) helps the homeless and less fortunate every day. What they do is noble, special, and life-changing, and it deserves not just my support, but yours as well.”
