Halifax police are investigating a string of break-ins at Dartmouth churches.
Police said Friday night that three church break-ins took place overnight Sept. 17-18 in Dartmouth and are now under investigation.
Electronics, cash and other items were stolen from churches on Regency Drive, Portland Street and Hastings Drive.
Police said Saturday afternoon that another report of a break-in at a Dartmouth church had since been reported.
The church on Farrell Street in Dartmouth is the fourth church in the area to report a break-in in the last 24 hours.
According to police, multiple suspects broke into the church overnight, stole some items and caused property damage.
Police say anyone who notices suspicious activity around residences, businesses or places of worship should call police.
No suspects have been identified yet but police say the investigation is ongoing.
