As Toronto police display a growing cache of stolen bicycles to the public, there’s word of yet another bike bust.
Police have allegedly seized several hundred more bikes found in garages in the Dufferin Avenue and Bloor Street area.
This latest seizure is on top of the approximately 700 bikes recovered yesterday after police raided three warehouses just west of downtown. They also uncovered 3.5 kilograms of marijuana.
The busts are part of a larger investigation stemming from a Queen Street bike shop. In total, 3,500 bikes have now been recovered, and 250 owners have been reuinted with their bicycles.
