KELOWNA — After going missing for three days, Arlo has now made it safely back to the arms of his owner. The orange tabby cat had quite the scare, trapped inside a fourth floor condo at the Legacy II complex when the building went up in flames.

Arlo was found hiding in his apartment behind the washing machine.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

He was rushed Rose Valley Vet Clinic to get looked over, but officials say he is doing well.

His owner wants to thank everyone who helped find Arlo, the Canadian Disaster Animal Response Team (CDART) and vet, Dr. Oz.

Search efforts are still underway for the final missing feline from the complex, a black cat , Luna, living on the third floor.

CDART is a non-profit charity, providing short-term care for animals affected by the Legacy II blaze. It is graciously accepting donations to pay for fostering costs.
