DARTMOUTH, N.S. — A 45-year-old man is charged with impersonating a police officer after a small taser, replica guns and imitation police clothes were found in his vehicle.

Halifax Regional Police were called to a Windmill Rd. Apartment Thursday night, after someone complained about the suspect. When police arrived, the man was gone, but returned a short time later.
The man spent Thursday night in jail and will be in Dartmouth court Friday morning, on charges of weapons offenses and impersonating a police officer.
