SASKATOON – A chance encounter between a Saskatoon city councillor and Kiss rock star Gene Simmons could see the celebrity lend support for a future Junior Achievement event.

Darren Hill says he bumped into Simmons in Saskatoon on Friday and gave the star his card, which identifies him as the president of Junior Achievement Saskatchewan.

Hill says Simmons’ face lit up, and he recounted how the youth-based business education organization had been one of the most important components of his education when he was in high school.
