KELOWNA — Police are treating the discovery of a body found floating in Kelowna’s Mill Creek as suspicious.
The body was discovered Sunday in the creek off Sutherland Avenue near Harvey Avenue.
“Police attended and were directed to the area by the witness, and the body of a deceased male was recovered by police,” says Corporal Joanne Meyers. “The investigation is in the preliminary stages and is being treated as a suspicious death.”
Police say they expect to release more information today and are asking for witnesses to come forward.
