New location found for displaced Pain Clinic
Starting Tuesday, July 2 patients of the pain program at Holy Cross will be seen at the Richmond Road Diagnostic & Treatment Centre. The Holy Cross Centre is closed until further notice because of flood damage. AHS will contat patints about change in location for appointments. Sheldon M. Chumir Urgent Care Centre
The 24 hour Urgent Care has re-opened. All other clinics and services are now available, with the exception of Communitiy Accessible Rehabilitation (CAR) clinics, Hemodialsys & Peritonal Dialysis- Southern Alberta Renal Program (SARP_. These Services will re-open in the coming week. Public Health Clinics will temporarily be operating out of East Calgary Health Centre. Call (403) 944-1011 for more information.
Holy Cross Centre remains closed: (UPDATED)
Alberta Health Services says the Holy Cross won’t be open for at least six weeks, due to extensive flood damage. AHS is now looking for alternative location for the clinics.
Nearly 100 cancer patient appointments occur daily at the Holy Cross Clinics. 85% of these appointments will soon be moving to the Richmond Road Diagnostic Centre (former site of the Alberta Children’s Hospital). The new clinics are expected to open next Tuesday. The remaining 15% of appointments will be handled at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre

Patient appointments at both the Holy Cross are being re-scheduled on a priority basis.
AHS staff will contact patients to let them know about re-scheduled appointments.
All Cancer Care clinics for new patients scheduled for the Holy Cross have been temporarily relocated to the Tom Baker Cancer Centre for this week. Patient clinics are being held in any available spaces in order to maintain patient volume.
All existing cancer care patients with appointments at the Holy Cross will be assessed and contacted with information on cancellations and rescheduling. More information will be shared on Calgary cancer care clinic plans as they become available.
Patients will be contacted with informatoin on re-scheduled appointments.
High River Low Risk Obstetrics Clinic
Beginning Tuesday, June 25, priority patients of High River’s Low Risk Obstetrics Clinic will be seen in Okotoks at the Okotoks Health & Wellness Centre. Alberta Health Services will be contacting patients to reschedule appointments based on gestational age and medical issues. High River Low Risk Obstetrics Clinic patients can also call 403-995-2666 to rebook their own appointments; preferably mothers pregnant for longer than 36 weeks and those with specific followup appointments for other reasons. The Low Risk Clinic will not be seeing initial prenatal visits at this time.
AHS to begin offering health resources to High River residents in Okotoks
The Okotoks Urgent Care Centre will now be open 24 hours a day to help support medical needs of evacuated High River residents. AHS says this will continue until the High River Hospital is able to re-open and resume normal operation.
Nursing services and minor first aid is available at the High River fire hall.
The High River Cancer and low risk obstetrics clinics are expected to begin operating in Okotoks by Wednesday, June 26th
The Okotoks Urgent Care Centre is in the Okotoks Health Wellness Centre located at 11 Cimarron Common, Okotoks

Agape Hospice
- Agape Manor is now open.
Banff Mineral Springs Hospital
- Only a limited number of surgeries will be done at the Banff Mineral Springs Hospital for the rest of this week (June 26-28) Patients will be contacted
Bowcrest Centre
- Residents of BowCrest are scheduled to return to BowCrest later this week.
Bowview Manor
- Residents of Bowview have returned to Bowview Manor.
Canmore Cancer Centre:
- The Canmore Cancer Centre is treating patients on a limited basis and is expected to be fully operational next week
- Patients with scheduled appointments at the Canmore Cancer Centre this week should call: 403-678-7200.
- All patients who have been displaced by the flooding should update their contact information by calling the Alberta Cancer Line at: 1-888-432-8865.
Canmore General Hospital:
- Elective surgeries at Canmore General Hospital are postponed this week. Patients are being notified.
Calgary Laboratory Service:
- All diagnostic imaging services such as ultrasound, x-ray and MRIs are open for business as usual with exceptions of Sheldon M. Chumir Urgent Care Centre (re-opening Wedneday, June 26th at 10 am) and Gulf Canada Square. These patients are being contacted and appointments rescheduled.
Chinook Regional Hospital (Lethbridge):
- After several days, telephone service has now been restored to the hospital. Call 403-388-6111 for more information
Drumheller Health Centre
- Long-term care patients and Continuing Care residents are returning to Drumheller starting Tuesday, June 25. All residents and patients will be back in Drumheller by Thursday, June 27. Families are being contacted directly with information regarding the return of loved ones
- Elective surgeries are expected to resume on Thursday.
High River Cancer Centre:
- The High River Cancer Centre remains closed until further notice. Current patients are being assessed and referred to other AHS cancer centres in Lethbridge, Calgary and Red Deer.
- High River cancer patients with questions or concerns should call the Alberta Cancer Line at: 1-888-432-8865.

- Residents in Carewest beds at Holy Cross are being transfered to permanent beds elsewhere in the Carewest system.
Holy Cross – Pain Clinic
- Starting on Tuesday, July 2, the pain program will begin running physician clinics at the Richmond Road Diagnostic & Treatment Centre
- Patients are being notified about the change in location for these appointments.
- At this time, we will not run our group therapy program until the following week. These patients are also being notified.

Medicine Hat Regional Hospital
- The Medicine Hat regional hospital remains open
- A temporary urgent care facility set up at the Medicine Hat College (operating 24/7) untril further notice
- A second temporary urgent care facility set up at Crescent Height Family Medicine Centre has now been closed
- A field hospital has been opened at the Medicine Hat Leisure Centre has now been closed.
- St. Joseph’s Home has been inspected and re-opened. Covenant Health will be transferring lodge clients and community support patients. Palliative care patients will be returning this weekby EMS.
Sheldon Chumir Urgent Care:
- Urgent care is now open
- All other clinics and services are now available, with the exception of Communitiy Accessible Rehabilitation (CAR) clinics, Hemodialsys & Peritonal Dialysis- Southern Alberta Renal Program. These Services will re-open in the coming week.
