MOOSE JAW, Sask. — Luka Burzan scored twice as the Brandon Wheat Kings shutout the Moose Jaw Warriors 6-0 in WHL action Saturday night.

Ben McCartney knocked in the game winning goal for the Wheat Kings at 7:59 of the second period.

Connor Gutenberg and Lynden McCallum (2 goals) also scored for Brandon.

Brock Gould combined with Boston Bilous for 34 saves for Moose Jaw.

The Wheat Kings outshot the Warriors 40 to 35.

Moose Jaw (11-27-2) went 0-for-4 on the power play. The Wheat Kings (24-17-3) went 0-for-2 with the man advantage.

SWIFT CURRENT, Alta. — Aidan De La Gorgendiere scored twice as Saskatoon beat Swift Current 7-2.

Martin Fasko-Rudas, Chase Wouters, Tristen Robins, Alex Morozoff and Kyle Crnkovic also scored for the Blades (22-18-3).

Cole Nagy and Aiden Bulych did the scoring for the Broncos (9-29-4).

RED DEER, Alta. — Zak Smith scored twice as Red Deer downed Prince Albert 4-3 in a shootout.

Keaton Sorensen also scored for the Rebels (15-23-5).

MEDICINE HAT, Alta. — James Hamblin scored four times as Medicine Hat clobbered Lethbridge 6-2.

Phillip Schultz and Gary Haden found the net for the Royals (25-15-3).
