Program cuts at Capilano University

Despite months of student protests, several programs at Capilano University have been cut.

Many arts, technology and science courses have been slashed because of a 1.3-million-dollar budget shortfall.

Many students believe the cuts are due to a rise in administration costs and are demanding budget transparency.

Faculty members and students were so worried about their programs getting cut, some started a crowd-sourcing campaign to collect funds.

Many students say they will continue to protest in hopes of getting their programs back.
