More jail time added in Boys and Girls Club theft

Jeff Martin / Global Okanagan

Penticton – A Penticton woman has received additional jail time for her role in a theft at the Okanagan boys and girls club.

This week a judge handed 26 year old Megan Roberts four months jail along with a 5.5 month conditional sentence.

She was given 60 days credit for time served.

Roberts plead guilty to a string of break and enter charges throughout the valley, including the theft of the penticton boys and girls club van in late march.

She and the co-accused were arrested in Penticton after the van crashed into a parked car days later.
