Nova Scotia’s police watchdog agency is investigating a collision involving an unmarked RCMP vehicle that left the female driver of another vehicle badly injured.
The Serious Incident Response Team says on Sept. 13 the Mountie was responding to a call to assist another member when his vehicle collided with another on Highway 2 in Enfield.

The independent agency confirmed the officer’s car had its “emergency equipment activated” when the crash occurred.
The female driver suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries, and the officer’s injuries were described as non-life threatening.
The watchdog agency assumed responsibility for the investigation last Friday, and it is asking anyone with information about the crash to come forward.
