Hamilton police say a man from Lyndon is dead after a single-vehicle car crash in Flamborough.
Emergency crews responded to a vehicle collision call near Woodhill Road at the 4th Concession around 4:31 a.m. on Sunday morning.

Early on in the investigation, police collision reconstruction teams believe a 2013 Hyundai Elantra left the roadway, entered a ditch on the west side of the road, and struck a hydro pole around 3:30 a.m.
The cause of the collision is unknown.
The man was pronounced dead on the scene, police say.
