Another large piece of tsunami debris washes up on a B.C. beach

Submitted by Ernest Mason

Another large piece of debris from the Japanese tsunami two years ago has washed up on a B.C. beach.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

This time it’s a fishing boat found on the shores of Swindle Island in Queen Charlotte Sound.

The boat has damage to the bow and the motor is trashed, but it still floats and Japanese letters are still clearly visible on its hull.
