A Nazi flag that was seen flying on the roof of a house in Kelliher, Sask., northeast of Regina, has come down.
The mayor of the small village said the flag would be taken down after a photo it was seen on social media Friday.
Darcy King said the flag went up Thursday night and led to complaints within the village.
He said photos of the flag posted on social media had people across the country commenting on it.
RCMP Cpl. Rob King also said the local police detachment received complaints about the flag, and officers did talk to the man about it.

King said he contacted the owner of the flag’s parents and said, “they didn’t know it was happening. He’s living in his grandpa’s house and, as soon as it quits raining, he’s going to take it down.”
It is not illegal to display Confederate or Nazi flags, according to the RCMP.
