TORONTO – Country singer LeAnn Rimes and actor Eddie Cibrian celebrated their second anniversary Monday night with a romantic dinner in Toronto.
“Beautiful anniversary, low key and lovely,” Rimes tweeted Tuesday. “Thx for all your sweet well wishes.”
The pair hit up Ursa on Queen Street West to mark the special occasion.
It was a casual outing, with Cibrian wearing jeans and a plaid shirt and Rimes – her hair done by local stylist Jai Matar – wearing a long black dress under a leather jacket.
The happy couple returned by cab to their suite at the Park Hyatt Hotel on Avenue Road, where they enjoyed a cake decorated with lyrics from their wedding song, Patty Griffin’s “When It Don’t Come Easy.”
“If you break down I’ll drive out and find you,” it read in gold icing. “Happy 2nd anniversary.”
Cibrian, 39, is in the city filming The Best Man Holiday.
On Tuesday, Rimes lunched at Buca on King Street West, raving on Twitter about “some of the best pizza I’ve ever had.”
The two began a relationship while co-starring in the 2009 Lifetime movie Northern Lights in Calgary – and while Rimes was married to dancer Dean Sheremet and Cibrian was married to former model Brandi Glanville.
They were engaged in December 2010 and tied the knot April 22, 2011. A month later, Cibrian flew to Toronto to stay with Rimes while she filmed the CMT movie Reel Love north of the city.
Cibrian, whose credits include the daytime drama Sunset Beach and prime time series Third Watch, was a member of Canadian boy band 3Deep in the late ‘90s.
