SASKATOON – A morning dumpster fire at a Saskatoon business left several employees suffering from smoke inhalation.
Fire crews were called to Wood Pro Design at 3:44 a.m. after an alarm company reported a fire signal at the business located in the 2200-block of Speers Avenue.
When crews arrived, they found smoke coming out of an open overhead door.
Employees had used several fire extinguishers in an attempt to put out the fire in a dumpster where some debris was burning.
Fire fighters completed extinguishing the fire.
Some employees were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.
There was smoke damage throughout the building causing an unknown amount of damage.
The case of the fire remains under investigation.
