The strongest support for the BC Liberals tends to be concentrated in tony neighbourhoods. Global News broke down data from last election, and found a number of polling stations where more than 100 people voted and the Liberals received more than 80% of the vote. Here are 12 of them.
1. Morgan Creek Golf Course, Surrey-Cloverdale: 94.4% Liberal.
The houses that surround Morgan Creek Golf Course in South Surrey—specifically, those to the east of Morgan Creek Way—were perhaps the most likely to vote Liberal in the entire province. 169 of 179 voters in polling station #105 voted Liberal—defeating the NDP 94.4 to 3.4 per cent.
2. Southwest Oakridge, Vancouver-Langara: 92% Liberal.
These one to two blocks east of Granville Street from 53rd to 59th Avenue—polling station 73 in Vancouver-Langara last election—only had 100 votes, but 92 of them went to the Liberals (for those curious, 6 when to the NDP, and 2 to the Greens).
3. Cypress Park Estates, West Vancouver-Sea to Sky: 88.1% Liberal.
The western half of the small group of houses north of Highway 1 and west of Cypress Bowl in West Vancouver, this polling station recorded 118 votes for the Liberals, 10 for the Green Party, and just 6 for the NDP.
4. Eagle Mountain, Abbotsford-Abbotsford-Mission: 87.8% Liberal.

Part of the planned community of Eagle Mountain, the polling station for the most northwest part of this community gave the Liberals 121 votes last election, compared to just 10 for the NDP.
5. Mission Hill, Westside-Kelowna: 86.1% Liberal.
A small area next to the shores of Okanagan Lake in West Kelowna, polling station 33 in Westside-Kelowna recorded 87 Liberal votes, and just 9 votes for the NDP.
6. South Thompson, Richmond-Centre: 86.1% Liberal.
The most northeastern neighbourhood in Richmond has a few polling stations, but the next to Quilchena Golf Course was the most Liberal last election, getting 99 of 115 votes, compared to just 11 for the NDP candidate.
7. Westwood Plateau Golf Academy, Coquitlam-Burke Mountain: 84.2% Liberal.
A number of suburban streets wind through this golf academy, and in the polling station for the most northern area, 101 people voted for Liberal candidate Douglas Horne, compared to 14 for NDP candidate Heather McRitchie.
8. Gallagher Canyon Golf Resort, Kelowna-Mission: 83.9% Liberal.
In the furthest southeast corner of Kelowna, a private community around a golf resort is a bastion of Liberal support, with 133 votes last election compared to 25 for the NDP.
9. Northwest Dawson Creek, Peace River South: 82.3% Liberal.
The northern-most part of Dawson Creek is an isolated neighbourhood, and its polling station had 93 Liberal voters compared to 17 NDP voters.
10.Stuart Lake Highway, Nechako Lakes: 80.3% Liberal.
100 kilometres west of Prince George, there’s a highway linking the towns of Vanderhoof and Fort St. James. The rural area around the southern part of this highway broke heavily to the Liberals last election, with 114 of 142 votes going to eventual winner John Rustad.
11. Shuswap Lake Estate Golf Course, Shuswap: 80% Liberal.
Located in the Town of Sorrento next to Shuswap Lake, the polling station for the houses surrounding the Lake Estates Golf Course had 104 votes for George Abbott, compared to just 9 for Steve Gunner of the NDP.
12. Rose Hill, Kamloops-South Thompson: 80% Liberal.
A hill on the southeast outskirts of Kamloops, the neighbourhood of Rose Hill gave the Liberals 84 votes last election, compared to just 17 for the NDP.
