A man was charged with assault with a weapon following a dispute in Bradford, police say.
According to South Simcoe police, on Tuesday, at around 3 p.m., officers were called to the Holland Street West and Simcoe Road area after receiving a report of a dispute.
Police say the dispute began between a pedestrian and a driver over illegally parked vehicles.
Officers say following an investigation, a 33-year-old man from Bradford was arrested and charged with uttering threats, assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
According to police, the victim did not require medical treatment as a result of the incident.
