RCMP investigating after light post cut down, floodlights stolen from N.B. ball field

New Brunswick RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in a unique case of property damage and theft that allegedly occurred at a ball field on the Eel Ground First Nation.

Police say that sometime in late January or early February, a person or group of people cut down a light post supporting three high-intensity floodlights at the field.

The group then allegedly stole the three floodlights that were attached to the pole.

The Mounties are now asking anyone with information about the incident or who may have seen suspicious activity to contact them at 506-843-9400 or to call Crime Stoppers.
