The teenage girl convicted of manslaughter in the death of Ashlee Hyatt is set to be sentenced in Kelowna court this week.
The accused 19-year-old can’t be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, but Crown lawyers are trying to have her sentenced as an adult. If she’s sentenced as a youth, she faces a maximum sentence of three years.
