Bridgepoint hospital moving 400 patients to new building

TORONTO – Bridgepoint hospital moved 352 patients to its new building Sunday.

Officials say the patients, along with thousands of pieces of furniture and medical equipment, will be moved in less than 10 hours.

Construction on the $622-million facility, located next to the former Don Jail, began in 2009.

The new building doesn’t officially open until June.
